In Loving Memory Of Roy WiseRoy Wise, 80, of Littleton, WV died Sunday, January 14, 2001 at his residence. He was born August 10, 1920 at Wadestown, WV a son of the late Jasper E. Wise and Mary Alice Pethtel Wise. Mr. Wise was a retired construction worker with 35 years of service for the Forest Construction Co. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, Local #1687 and a Methodist by faith. Surviving are his wife, Reba Smith Wise; one son, Richard L. Wise of Burton, WV; three daughters, Sharon Dishman, Karen S. Mackey, and Pamela J. Burley, all of Cameron; eleven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Rex, Leo, Arthur, and Forrest Wise; three sisters, Lillian White, Gertrude Fetty and Gladys Bish; a daughter, Patricia Cain and a great-grandson, Timothy C. Wise. Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday, January 15, 2001. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 16, 2001 with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery.
