In Loving Memory Of Roger Lee Johnson Roger Lee Johnson, 36, of Wadestown, WV died Tuesday, September 18, 2001 in the Washington Hospital in Washington, PA following a brief illness. He was born November 19, 1964 in Waynesburg, PA a son of Junie Pierce Johnson of Deep Valley, PA and the late Russell Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a welder for the last eight years for Omega Transworld Ltd of Gerards Fort, PA. He was a 1983 graduate of West Greene High School and he was an E-4 with the National Guard from 1981 to 1987 in Waynesburg, PA. He was a member of the West Warren Baptist Church of Wadestown. Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Wanda Wright Johnson; a step-son, David Eakin of Hundred; a step-daughter and spouse, Kelly and Jeff Dittman of Wadestown; five brothers, Ralph Johnson, George Johnson and John Raymond Johnson all of Deep Valley, PA, Glenn Johnson of Moundsville, WV and Charles Johnson of Nettle Hill; four sisters, Darlene Prendergast of Hundred, Beryl Gene Miller of Graysville, PA, Charlene Bruckner of New Freeport, PA and Betty Gump of Deep Valley, PA; three step-grandchildren Arica, September and Ashely Eakin; several nieces and nephews. In addtion to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister who died in infancy, Barbara Roseann Johnson. Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
