In Loving Memory Of Ray Riter Ray Riter, 66, of Littleton, WV died Saturday, January 26, 2002 at his residence following a lenghtly illness. He was born March 17, 1935 at Endicott a son of the late John and Pearl Pyles Riter. Mr. Riter retired with 30 years of service from Weirton Steel. He was a member of the Morris Run Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Cora White Riter; three sons, Danny Riter of Baytown, TX, Donald G. Riter of Virginia and Mark E. Riter of Sistersville; two step-sons, Charles Taylor and Edward Taylor both of Martinsville; one step-daughter, Dian Wilson of New Martinsville; one brother, Leroy Riter of Middlebourne; two sisters, Fonda Sapp of Baytown, TX and Madge Hartley of Weirton; eleven step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Riter and Gary Riter; two sisters, Eleanor Littell and Dora Bilby. Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Evangelist Charles Pugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery at Knob Fork.
