In Loving Memory Of Robert F Knight
Robert F Knight, 80, of Hundred, WV died
Wednesday, October 22, 2003 in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in
Clarksburg, WV.
He was born September 21, 1923 at Cougerville, WV
(Upshur County), a son of the late Robert Michael Knight and Lillie Mae
Alderman Knight.
Mr. Knight was a career military man having served
in the United States Army prior to World War II in Panama. He went into
the army at the age of 14. He was a machinest having worked in the
production of airplane parts.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of
Foreign Wars, the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred, a member of
the IOOF Windemere Lodge of Egyptian Rite in Cleveland, Ohio, and a protestant
by faith.
Surviving are his ex-wife, Arabella Louise Kelley
Knight of Albuquerque, NM; two sons, Robert Knight II of Hundred and
John D.Knight of Albuquerque, NM; three daughters, Holly Susan Spalenka
of Alhambra, CA; Kathryn Louise Vincent of NOrth Carolina; and Bonnie Bucher
of Hundred; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by two sisters, Brozena Kelly and Helen Crimm; one brother, Billy
Knight and one half-brother, Kent Brown.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in
Hundred from 6-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral
home at 10:30 AM Monday with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating.
Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cememtery at Grafton.
