JOHN PRICE

John Gary Price, 70, of Knob Fork, WV died Friday, December 9, 2005 at his residence.

He was born January 8, 1935 at Proctor, WV a son of the late Wilbert and Grace Price.

Mr. Price was a retired boilermaker of 35 years. He was a methodist by faith and a United States Navy Veteran. He was a former member of Post #86, American Legion of Paden City.

Surviving are his wife, Pansy Olive Yoho Price; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth L. Y. Goddard of the Sunbridge Nursing Home in Salem, WV, Herbert C. Rice, Jr. and his wife Amy; of Knob Fork, John and Bonnie Rice of Uniontown, WV, and Terry L. Rice of Knob Fork; three sisters, Vivian Price of Reader, Ruth Ann and Ray Calvert of New Martinsville, and Wyvonne Mynard of Tuscon, Arizona; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

John was loved and respected by everyone.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville.
