ROBERT NEWBERRY

Staff Sergeant Robert Lee Newberry, 61, of Burton, West Virginia, retired from the United States Army Reserves in 2000; born in Birmingham, Alabama June 11, 1944, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at his residence.

Mr. Newberry was a part of the clinical nursing staff at Ruby Memorial Hospital and received awards for good nursing care.

He is survived by two daughters; Joy Lee Crews and Julie Lynn Pearson; five sons, Sergeant Robert Lloyd Newberry, Jay Lamont Newberry, Jere Lewis Newberry, Jamal Andre Newberry and Jacques Pierre Newberry; and his dear friends, Bill and Ada Eddy.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 PM Monday with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Franklin Memorial Park located in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
