In Loving Memory Of JACK WILLIAMS, Jr. Gearl D. "Jack" Williams, Jr., 58, of Pentress, WV passed away August 18, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 18, 1948 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Gearl D. Williams, Sr. and Gladys Christine Williams. Jack worked for Novelis in Fairmont. He was a member of the United Steel Workers and he had a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Pai Lum Kung Fu. Jack was a Vietnam War veteran who served in the United States Army. He was also an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his wife Marlene Williams; two sons & spouses, Toby and Heather Ann Williams of Crofton, MD and Jarrod Williams of Pentress; two daughters & spouses, Beth & Curt Thomas of Wadestown and Shelley and Eric Johnson of Core; two brothers, Dennis and Donald Williams; three sisters, Cheryl Gallagher, Susan Michael, and Kim Brummage, and their families; three grandchildren, Jackie and Josie Thomas and Ruby Layne Johnson; and his father & mother-in-law, John and Iolene Santee. Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-9PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday.
