MARY JO LEMLEY

Mary Jo Lemley, 65, of Wadestown, WV died Sunday, August 27, 2006 at her residence following a brief battle with cancer.

Born August 7, 1941 at Crossroads, WV a daughter of the late Robert Wayne and Beulah M. Lynch Estel. She had been a resident of the Wadestown area all of her life.

She retired from West Virginia University in January of 2004 after working in food service at the Towers Dormitory for more than 20 years.

Mary Jo was a member of the West Warren Baptist Church of Wadestown.

Surviving are a son and spouse, Greg & Pamela Lemley of Mt. Morris, PA; two granddaughters, Lacey and Danielle, also of Mt. Morris; one brother and spouse, Bill and Melanie Estel of Wadestown; a niece and spouse, Mary Ann and Todd Mullenex of Mannington and their daughters, Maddie and MacKenzie; a nephew and spouse, Dan & Stephanie Estel of Cheat Lake; a great-niece, Aubrey Estel; a step-great-niece, Jacie Michael; a step-great-nephew, Drew Michael; an aunt, Carrie Evelyn Estel of Wishing Well Health Care Center, Fairmont; and a host of friends.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Rev. Rose Saunders and Pastor Jack Snoderly officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or charity of the donor's choice.
