GEORGIA M. McCOY

Georgia M. McCoy, 76, of Burton, WV died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at her residence.

She was born March 18, 1932 at Ned, PA, a daughter of the late Wilbur Thomas and Esther M. Bogard Six.

Mrs. McCoy was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are four daughters & spouses, Karen and Joe Huber of Stanley, ND, Donna and Hugh Richardson of Herndon, VA, Barbara and Jay Phillips of Fairmont, and Brenda and Ronnie Parson of Waynesburg, PA; one son, Jack L. McCoy, Jr. of Harpers Ferry, WV; one sister, Lois Jean Goddard of New Brighton, PA; five grandchildren, Robert Snider, Tracie Fadely, Kristina Parsons, Forrest Richardson, and Zach Phillips; and six great-grandchildren, Jesse Sutphin, Gabby Bellizio, Hannah Sutphin, Georgia Snider, Madison Fadely, and Karen Snider.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. McCoy, who died on January 24, 2008; a son, Joe McCoy; a brother, Charles W. Thomas; and her step-father, Hagan Six.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will be held at the convenience of the family and will be private.

Interment will be in the McCoy Cemetery at Daybrook.
