GENEVA RUTH WISE

Geneva Ruth Wise, 79, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

Ruth was born July 15, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Edith Matilda Eddy.

She is survived by one son, George Wise, of Mooresville, who dedicated the last five years taking care of her. Also surviving are three daughters and their spouses, Pearl and Gus Anderson of Wadestown, Mary Bosley of Core, Nancy Wise of Mooresville; one adopted daughter, Vanessa Eddy and spouse Ora of Daybrook; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorah Wise; one daughter, Joann DeBerry; step-daughter, Ruby Tennant; and two brothers.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Friday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Brewer Cemetery on Jakes Run.
