In Loving Memory Of

IMOGENE CHISLER

Imogene Ione (Price) Chisler, 75, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2008 in Monongalia General Hospital .

She was born November 6, 1932; she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Indiana Price.

Imogene worked at Monongalia General Hospital in her early years. It was a job and place she dearly loved and upon retiring she became a foster parent of several children. She was an owner of Just Kidding Around Consignment Shop where she often managed and worked. Imogene was a member of the Daybrook Methodist Church. She loved flowers and doing yard work with her son Fred.

Imogene is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bob R. Chisler; two brothers, Charles Price of Daybrook and Ronnie Price of Fairview; one sister, Brenda Towns of Cassville; and a half-sister, Freda Stiles of Wadestown.

She is also survived by her six children; Daughter Eileen & husband Jerry Wilson of Pentress, Daughter Pat & husband Joel Bruffey or Roanoke, WV, Son Neil Chisler and wife Cindy of Blacksville, Daughter Martha & husband Douglas Lancaster, Jr. of Daybrook, Son Frederick and wife Jackie Chisler of Mt. Morris, PA, and Daughter Mavis Eddy of Core; a special friend, Richard L. Boggs, Sr of Core; twelve grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

Imogene was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Betty and Darlene Price; three brothers, James, Jesse, and Wesley Price; and a son-in-law, Melvin Robert Eddy.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Friday with the Pastor Edward Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
