CHARLES E HAWKINS

Charles E. Hawkins, 74, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his residence following a brief illness.

He was born December 9, 1934 at Proctor, WV a son of the late John T. Hawkins and Mildred Francis Kimble Hawkins.

Mr. Hawkins was a retired truck drive from Alcan in Canada. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving are his son, Anthony Robert Hawkins of Ontario Canada; his companion, Marlene Toperine; a half-brother, John Hawkins of New Martinsville; and two grandchildren.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. His body will be cremated and returned to Canada for burial.

The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
