In Loving Memory Of JAMES
D. STIERINGER James
D. "Danny" Stieringer, 53, of Daybrook, WV died Saturday, October 10,
2009 at his residence. He
was born July 7, 1956 at Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Barbara Bolyard McCoy of
Blacksville and the late James D. Stieringer, Sr. Danny
was disabled and formerly worked cutting right of ways for Pennline Services. He
was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, District 31 of Fairmont. Surviving
in addition to his mother, is his step-father, Carley McCoy of Blacksville; his
girlfriend, Brenda Miller of Daybrook; two sons, James D. "J. D."
Stieringer, III and John R. Stieringer, both of Daybrook; two daughters, Mary
Chaney of Daybrook and Stephanie Stieringer of Connellsville, PA; one brother,
Rodney Stieringer of Morgantown; two sisters, Tammie Stieringer of Waynesburg,
PA and Kim Paugh of Morgantown; and ten grandchildren. Friends
may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-9 PM Monday.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 AM Tuesday with the
Pastor Freddie Eddy II officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion
Cemetery in Preston County.
