William Roupe, 96, of Washington, PA died Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the Respi Center in Waynesburg, PA.

Bill was born August 28, 1915 at Sycamore, PA, a son of the late George Roupe and Vaughn Hayes Roupe.

Mr. Roupe was a retired machinist. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a very religious man who formerly attended the Church of God. Bill loved wild life and all of God's creatures.

Surviving are a nephew and his wife, Rick and Jennifer Kolat of Hundred, who considered Bill to be his grandfather; their three sons, Danny Kolat, Adam Kolat, and Lane Kolat; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Mr. Roupe was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Cumberledge; his second wife, Emma Roupe; and by two sisters, Alma Kolat and Ethel Anderson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2012, at Greene County Memorial Park with Pastor Gary Grant officiating.

The family would like to say "Thank You" to the staff of the Respi Center for the care and compassion show to Bill during his stay there.

The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
