ANGELA LaDAWN LANTZ

Angela “Angie” LaDawn Lantz, 36, of Fairmont, WV passed unexpectedly on June 8, 2021.

Her loss was completely unexpected, and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Angie was born September 30, 1984, the daughter of Sandra Carpenter in Canton, OH.  Raised by her parents, Sandra and Dale Carpenter, in her hometown of Fairmont, WV.

Angie attended North Marion High School and graduated in 2003.

Anyone who knew Angie, knew that she was kind, loving, and caring.  Angie was a true free spirit, she lived life one day at a time.  She never took things seriously.  She was always the “cool” aunt.  The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy.  She was able to find beauty in everything she saw.  Her pleasant personality was contagious.  She was the life of the party.  She had an uncanny ability to turn anything into a treasure.  Those of us that knew her are grateful we had the chance to be a part of it.  Angie’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

Angie is survived by her amazing children, Lucas and Emma Thorn of Fairmont, her mother and father, Sandra and Dale Carpenter of Daybrook, brother Mike Lantz of Fairmont, brother Jason Lantz (Kandie) of Fairmont, and her sister Sabrina Lantz (Joe) of Fairmont.  She was a proud auntie to her many nieces and nephews, Madalyn Lantz, Abbey Lantz, Brianna Lantz, Aubree Showalter, Dominick Stingo, Brayden Lantz, Charlie Anderson, and Elijah Lantz.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Louise Long, and her maternal aunt, Mary Ann Owens.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV is in charge of arrangements.
