EDNA PHILLIPS

        Edna Pettit Phillips, 89, formerly of Spraggs, PA died Monday, May 10, 2021 in the Waynesburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.

        She was born January 31, 1932 in Center Township, Greene County, (Rutan), Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Floyd Randolph and Millis Mae Hull Pettit.

        Mrs. Phillips worked as a clerk and cashier at the former G. C. Murphy Co. store in Waynesburg, PA.  She formerly attended the Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene.

        Surviving are three brothers, Noel Pettie, Austin Lemoyne Pettit, and Monty Blair Pettit; and one sister, Wilda Litten.

        In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reason Phillips; four brothers, Alvin Pettit, Elwood Pettit, Melvin Pettit, and Donald Pettit; and one sister Izola Shultz.

        Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 5-8 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday.

        Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
