HILDA DONALDSON
Hilda Jean Donaldson, 82, of Fairview, WV died Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Fairmont at the home of her daughter.
She was born October 30, 1938 at Littleton, a daughter of the late William Cunningham and Florence Wyckoff Cunningham.
Hilda was a homemaker. She loved bingo, gardening, genealogy, country music, and spending time with her family.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Crossroads and was active with their craft programs.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Dave Donaldson and his wife Burnice, Fairmont, Michael Donaldson and his wife Mary of Fairmont; three daughters, Mary Ellen Lake of Fairmont, Carla Moore and her husband Jeff of Worthington, and Teresa Greenlee and her husband Frank of Fairmont; one sister, Betty Johnson of St. Marys, WV; a brother-in-law and his wife, Paul Donaldson and his wife Linda of Petersburg; grandchildren, Christina Moore and Cliff, Brittany and Drew Myers, Melissa and Matt Mike, Michelle Moore, Alissa Donaldson, David and Courtney Donaldson, Jeff Moore, Matt Moore and Amber, Sierra Greenlee and Nigel, Alex Greenlee and Abby, Nathaniel Greenlee, Makayla Donaldson, Megan Donaldson and Collin; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Donaldson; one daughter, Carol Lee Donaldson; one grandson, Christopher Moore; a son-in-law, Kevin Lake; five sisters, Daisy Travis, Wilda Archbold, Evelyn Emigh, Eileen Whitlatch, and Margie Cunningham; and three brothers, Bill, Bud, and Bob Cunningham.
The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and the caregivers for their love and care given to Hilda during her illness.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, WV from 5-8 PM on Tuesday and from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Pastor Daniel Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Haught Cemetery near Fairview.

Always enjoyed talking with Hilda at the Jackson Reunion at Highland church. She used to bring me lots of family history information and told me where to find more especially on the Rice name.
