LARRY A. WILSON
Larry Allen Wilson, 66, of Morgantown, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
He was born February 4, 1957 at Fairmont, a son of the late Orville “Bud” Wilson and Mabel G. Russell Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a retired coal miner having retired from the Blacksville #2 mine. He was a member of the UMWA Local #1702 and a former member of the Wadestown Volunteer Fire Department.
He had been attending the Connection Community Church in Inwood, WV.
Surviving is one son and his spouse, Clint and Chelle Wilson of Inwood; one daughter, Bethany Harrington of Fairfax Station, Virginia; one brother and his wife, Jack and Sue Wilson of Wadestown; one sister and her husband, Sharon and Terry Lemley of Core; and four grandchildren, Barrett Wilson, Ellison Wilson, Luke Harrington, and Matthew Harrington-Woods.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister who both died as infants, Gary Lynn Wilson and Karen Wilson.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with Pastor Bob Scharnhorst officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
