MARY E. PYLES
Mary Evelyn Pyles, 83, of Silver Hill Community, New Martinsville, died February 22, 2024 in the New Martinsville Center.
She was born November 21, 1940 at Cameron, a daughter of the late Clyde Cain and Margarete Miller Cain.
Mrs. Pyles was a homemaker. She worked along side her husband Floyd Pyles operating the dairy farm for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Clifford Pyles of Silver Hill and Calvin Pyles of New Martinsville; two daughters and their spouses, Melba and Greg Lonero of Nathrop, Colorado and Rhonda and Robert Blake of New Martinsville; nine grandchildren, Christie Starcher, William Henry Burge, Sarah Burge, Jessica Burge, Jamie Lee, Matt Burge, Brent Blake, Rachael Graham, and Clayton Pyles-Dugas; fourteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Pyles, who died October 23, 2015; one daughter, Sharon Burge; and one great-granddaughter, Ashtyn Grace Lee.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2024. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at_12:00 Noon on Tuesday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Jolliffe Cemetery at Silver Hill.
