PAUL R. DUSKEY

          Paul R. Duskey, 84, formerly of Blacksville, WV died Wednesday, December 27, 2023 in the Tygart Center in Fairmont.

          He was born May 2, 1939 at Shinnston, WV a son of the late Guy R. Duskey and Geraldine Hall Duskey.

          Mr. Duskey was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

          Surviving are two daughters, April Morris and Dawniele Christopher, both of Fairmont; two step-sons, Fred Showalter and David Showalter; one step-daughter, Truly Ledsome; one sister, Shirley Conaway; and several grandchildren.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Duskey; one brother, Guy “Bud” Duskey, Jr., and two sisters, Ruby Brookover and Geneva Hunter.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023.  Burial will be in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton after the holiday.
