WILLIAM L. JOLLIFF

          In loving memory of William L. Jolliff, US Army Spc, 82, a lifelong resident of Littleton, WV passed away February 11, 2024.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Jolliff and Betty Jolliff, two brothers, Tom Jolliff of Glenville and Jeff Jolliff of Wheeling, and a sister, Nancy Burge of Fairmont.

          William is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patty Jolliff; a son, Jason Jolliff; a daughter, Kristina Soles; three grandsons, Jesse Jolliff, Devon Soles, and Eric Hiles; a granddaughter, Kimberly Soles, USArmy Nat’l Guard Spc; sisters, Linda Oliver of Fairmont, Judy and Tony Carter of Florida, and Suzie and Delmar Walls of Blacksville.

          Bill was a graduate of Hundred High School class of 1960.  After high school he enlisted in the United States Army as a communications specialist.  He returned to Littleton and served as a deputy sheriff for Wetzel County.  He later joined the IBOE local 66 where he was a heavy equipment operator/inspector until he retired.

          He was a member of the Knob Fork and Hundred Sportsmans Clubs.  He enjoyed playing cinch and reading western books.  He also loved his grandkids, teaching them to shoot, fish, and he loved watching their ball games.  He was a proud granddad, and a loving husband and father.  We love and miss you BR549/Uncle Grandpa.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 18, 2024.  A Funeral service will be held at 5:30 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  A military service will be held at 6:00 PM.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
