HELEN FARRINGER
Helen Irene Tennant Farringer, 98, of Clinton, PA died Monday, November 11, 2024 at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1926 at Jakes Run, a daughter of the late William L. Brookover and Emma Cook Brookover.
Mrs. Farringer was a homemaker. Helen loved sports. Her favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. In years past she would go to WVU sporting events. Also, she spent her winters in Florida for more than 30 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Lee Corbin of Core and Carolyn Truver of Clinton, PA; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Adrian Tennant, second husband, Richard Farringer; one son, David Tennant; one daughter, Donna Miles; one sister, Mary Moore; and two brothers, William Sherrill Brookover and Donald Brookover.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024 with Rev. Rose Saunders officiating at the St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville.
The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV is in charge of arrangements.
