JAMES V. AGUES

          James V. Agues, 95, of Wadestown, WV died Monday, March 10, 2025 in WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born August 28, 1929 in Niles, Ohio, a son of the late David Thomas Verner Agues and Mary Elizabeth Dunkleman Agues.

          Mr. Agues was a retired press operator for Warren Tool Company in Warren, Ohio.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

          Surviving is his wife, Georgia Marie Canton Agues; one daughter and her husband, Gail Henderson and her husband David of Wadestown; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Agues; one brother, Leroy Agues; and one sister, Marlene.

          At the request of the deceased his body will be cremated.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
