Sophie Grace Simpson, infant daughter of Allen Leon Simpson, Jr. and Erin Lynn Walls Simpson of Wana, WV died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, Paul Minor, Jr. and Caleb Simpson; three sisters, Cierra Minor, Abigail Simpson, and Emma Simpson; her paternal grandparents, Allen and Doris Simpson of Wana; maternal grandparents, Donzel and Jane Walls of Wadestown, maternal great-grandmother, Shirley Jones of Morgantown; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Ira & Mildred Simpson, maternal great-grandfather, Leland Jones, maternal great-grandparents, Oakie and Rosalie Walls, and her paternal great-grandparents, Lawrence and Macy Tennant.
Graveside services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family with the Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will be in the Core Cemetery at Bula.
The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
