Florence Evelyn Park, 88, of Spraggs, PA died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.
She was born April 13, 1918 at Blacksville, WV a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis Park and Carrie Lula Phillips Park.
Evelyn was a retired telephone operator. She worked for the South Penn Telephone Company for more than 32 years in Waynesburg, PA. She was a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School Class of 1936 and was a member of the Blacksville Baptist Church.
Surviving are two cousins, Alice McCray of Fairview, WV and Mildred Phillips of Spraggs, PA; and her caregiver Edna Phillips of Spraggs, PA.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Pastor Jack Snoderly officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
