Ruby Pearl Tennant, 92, of Mooresville died Monday March 20, 2006 at the home she shared with her son Gary and his wife, Charlotte, who were also her caregivers.
Mrs. Tennant was born October 7, 1913, in Brock, PA a daughter of the late Dorah Wise and Arie Spitznogle Wise.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons & spouses; Frankie & Shirley Tennant of New Albany, Indiana and Gary & Charlotte Tennant of Mooresville; four granddaughters and spouses, Sherry Fisher and Linda Tennant of Louisville, Kentucky, Melissa & Tim Hall and Miranda and Chris Stewart of Mooresville; one grandson, Jerry Tennant of Louisville; four great-granddaughters, Amy Fisher of Louisville and Mariah, Carolyn and Ava Hall of Mooresville; two great-grandsons, Chip Fisher of Louisville and Timothy Hall of Mooresville; and one more on the way.
Also surviving is a brother and spouse, Carl & Dorothy Wise of Westover; a sister-in-law, Alice Wise of Louisville, and a very special friend, Dolly (Dot) Tennant of Louisville, her step-mother, Geneva (Ruth) Wise of Mooresville, a half brother, George Wise of Mooresville, three half-sisters, Geneva Pearl Anderson of St Leo Road (Wadestown), Mary Bosley of Core, Jo Anne DeBerry of Ohio and one step-sister, Nancy Wise of Burton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ralph Tennant, who died in 1980, three brothers, Kenneth, Herschel, and Merle Wise and two sisters-in-law, Flossie Wise and Alberta Wise.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Evangelist Aaron Snider officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville.
