Carol T. Curtis, 76, of Jollytown Community, New Freeport, PA died Friday, June 23, 2006 at her residence.
She was born August 30, 1929 at Wana, WV a daughter of the late Glenn Thomas and Delphia Florence Moore Thomas.
Carol was a seamstress. She retired from Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg, PA with many years of service. She was a member of the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Opal Sainato of Jollytown Community, New Freeport, PA and Dorothy Hickman of Wana, WV; one step-son, Robert Curtis of the Washington, DC area; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. Ralph Curtis, whom she married on March 16, 1958; one brother, Fred Thomas; one sister, Violet Rockwell; and two step-sons, Daniel Curtis and Ralph Curtis.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV from 7-9 Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
