Ocie Katherine Cole Park, 89, of Waynesburg, PA died Thursday, November 3, 2005 in the Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born January 13, 1916 at Spraggs, PA a daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Morris Cole.
Mrs. Park was a member of the Brave United Methodist Church, former member of the Sunset Rebekah Lodge #418, a member of the Wayne Township Firemans Auxillary, and a member of the Clay-Battelle Senior Citzens.
Surviving are her sister, Margaret Bertoia, of Washington, PA; a sister-in-law, Ruby Park of Waynesburg, PA; five nephews, Richard VanCleve, Jr. of Houston, TX, Frankie Park of Sharpsburg, MD, Jimmy Park of Ripley, WV, Donald Stemple and James Stemple both of Philippi, WV.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elias (Bossy) Park who died on October 31, 1976; her foster parents, D. T. and May Wise; two brothers, Floyd & Kenneth Cole; three sisters, Pauline VanCleve, Francis Henice, and Mildred Orndoff; three brothers, Roy Wise, Robert Wise, and Ira Wise; and two nieces, Helen Jean and Mary Frances.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Rev. Chester Tennant officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
