Verna A. Price, 71, of Wadestown, WV died Tuesday, July 27, 2004 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born September 5, 1932 at Abingdon, VA a daughter of the late William T. Warren and Lottie Pauline Mitchel Warren.
Mrs. Price was a homemaker and a methodist by faith.
Surviving are one son, Jesse Price, Jr. of Wadestown; one daughter Gail Sine of Fairview; two brothers, Paul Warren of Abingdon, VA and Raymond Warren of Cleveland, VA; five sisters, Winnie Warren, Bristol, VA, Joyce Morris of Saltville, VA, Ellie Traverse, Ida Widener, and Jo Warren, all of Abingdon, VA; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Price, Sr. who died on January 12, 1990; one son, Eddie Glenn Price; and his twin sister, Edith Lynn Stewart; and two sisters, Nina Faye Warren and Jessie Knox.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 Noon on Friday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery at Grafton.
