Mildred K Hixenbaugh, 77, of Littleton, WV died Sunday June 27, 2004 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
She was born March 25, 1927, in Littleton, a daughter of the late Blaine Hixenbaugh and Mary Lancaster Hixenbaugh.
Ms. Hixenbaugh was retired from General Electric in Warren, Ohio where she worked for over 40 years. She was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 Ladies Auxillary and the Hundred Senior Citizens. He was a protestant by faith and the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Eva Hixenbaugh of Garrison, PA; nieces and nephews, Steve Hixenbaugh, Ronald Hixenbaugh, Jerry Hixenbaugh, Kathy Moore, Betty L. Parthemer, Danny Hixenbaugh, Blaine Hixenbaugh, Larry Hixenbaugh, Robert Hixenbaugh, and Charlotte Petryshak.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles A. Hixenbaugh, Marvin Hixenbaugh, Wilbur Hixenbaugh, Glen Hixenbaugh, and George Hixenbaugh, who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, Ned, PA.
