Nellie M. Morris, 89, of Wadestown, WV died Sunday, January 5, 2002 in the Smithley's Personal Care Home in Mt. Morris, PA.
Mrs. Morris was born August 22, 1913 at Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Joseph Franks and Magdaline Matulewicz Franks.
Mrs. Morris was a retired cook from Clay-Battelle High School with 20 years of service.She was a 50 year member of the Golden Glow Rebecca Lodge of Wadestown and a member of the Wadestown United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Frank Hockenberry of Wadestown and Mary Lou and Raymond Stiles of Wana; three brothers, Joseph Franks of Fairmont, Peter Franks of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Alex Franks of Grant Town; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin "Dick" Morris who died February 28, 1957; a sister, Helen Nebera and a great-grandson, Trenton Tennant.
At the request of the deceased there will be no funeral home visitation.Graveside funeral serviceswill be held at the Wadestown Cemetery at the convenience of the family with Rose Saunders officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Wadestown United Methodist Church, %Wilma C.
