Doris J. Hostutler, 71, of Hundred, WV died Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born December 9, 1931 at Fairview, WV a daughter of the late Arthur C. and Pearl M. Wilson McCardle.
Mrs. Hostutler was a homemaker.She worked at Bells Market in Hundred for many years until the store closed.He was a member of the Littleton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son and his wife, Gregory S. and Carolyn Hostutler of Hundred; one daughter and her husband, Nancy and Randy Casto of Edinburg, Virginia; four grandchildren, Billy Hostutler, Ashley Hostutler, Aaron Hostutler and Benjamin Casto; one great-grandchild, Anneliese Hostutler; a sister Rose Weir of Franklin, Mass.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Hostutler, who died on May 16, 1973; one brother, Delbert McCardle; and one sister, Loretta "Betty" Garrison.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Pastor Larry Holtz officiating.Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
