John Louis Barr, 57, of Hundred, WV died Friday, August 8, 2003 at his residence.He was born January 13, 1946 at Canton, Ohio; a son of Nora Barr Taylor of Mannington and the late Vern Barr.
Mr. Barr was a retired civil service computer programmer.He was a United States Air Force veteran having served from 1963 to 1975.He served two terms in Vietnam.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is one brother, Thomas Barr of Manchester, TN; and two sisters, Allegra Schleinger of Hundred and Bunita HIggins of Pana, Ill; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Barr.
There will be no funeral home visitation.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Yost Cemetery near Earnshaw with the Evangelist Michael Reese officiating.
