Clair B. "Gene" Martin, 81, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, April 24, 2003 in the Monogalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born February 9, 1922 at Weaver, WV a son of the late Porter and Bessie Day Martin.
Mr. Martin was retired from Hundred Auto Service.He was a United States Army Veteran who served in World War II.
Surviving are two daughters and spouses, Gloria and Bob Johnson of Hundred and Kelly and Howard Hayes of Brookfield, OH; one sister, Clara Danner of Easton, MD; four grandchildren, Tonya Martin and her husband, Scottof Fairmont, Steven Johnson and his wife, Lysa of Morgantown, Brandon Hayes of Kent, OH and Cory Hayes of Brookfield, OH; two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Misti Johnson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Shirl Martin; and two sisters, Margaret Lucas and Edra Livengood.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-9 PM Saturday.Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Mt. Herman Cemetery, Knob Fork, WV.
