Velva "Sis" Vaglienti, 78 of Barberton, Ohio died Monday, May 7, 2001 in Barberton, Ohio.
She was born October 18, 1922 at Beechwood, WV a daughter of the late Alfred Tichenor and Sara Hahn Tichenor.
Mrs. Vaglienti was a member of the Civitan, the Orioles Club, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Country Music Association, all of Barberton, OH.
Surviving are a son and spouse, Richard and Marie Vaglienti of Shelbina, Missouri; a daughter, L. Karen Knotts of Barberton; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Vaglienti and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from Noon until 2:00 PM Thursday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Rose Saunders officiating.Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery near Hundred.
