William A. "Sunny" Metz, 65, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, December 6, 2001 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Mr. Metz was born September 22, 1936 at Mobley, WV a son of the late William E. and Anna Belle Myers Metz.
Mr. Metz worked at different jobs throughout his life time.He last worked in the oil and gas industry.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Mike Bragg of Hundred;three sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Sherry Metzand David and Gina Metz all of Burton, WV and Tom and Chesa Metz of Kenton, Ohio;two sisters, Betty Cumberledge and Helen Patterson both of Hundred;five brothers, Robert Metz of Paden City, Leon Metz, Ray Metz, Jack Metz and Albert Metz all of Pentress;five grandchildren, Savannah Bragg, Wyatt, Emily, Hannah and Tommy Metz, Jr.;several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Gaye Parker Metz; one sister, Cecile Metz; and two brothers, Charles and David Metz.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Saturday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Yost Cemetery near Hundred.
