Roy Wise, 80, of Littleton, WVdied Sunday, January 14, 2001 at his residence.
He was born August 10, 1920 at Wadestown, WVa son of the late Jasper E. Wise and Mary Alice Pethtel Wise.
Mr. Wise was a retired construction worker with 35 years of service for the Forest Construction Co.He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, Local #1687 and a Methodist by faith.
Surviving are his wife, Reba Smith Wise; one son, Richard L. Wise of Burton, WV; three daughters, Sharon Dishman, Karen S. Mackey, and Pamela J. Burley, all of Cameron; eleven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Rex, Leo, Arthur, and Forrest Wise; three sisters, Lillian White, Gertrude Fetty and Gladys Bish; a daughter, Patricia Cain and a great-grandson, Timothy C. Wise.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WVfrom 2-4 & 7-9 PMMonday, January 15, 2001.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PMTuesday, January 16, 2001 with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery.
