Margarete V. Lemley Moore, 95, of Hundred, WV died Monday, October 22, 2001 in the Cameron Continuous Care Center in Cameron.
She was born May 25, 1906 in Burton, WV a daughter of the late William and Sadie Poland Lemley.
Mrs. Moore was a graduate of Fairmont Normal School (Fairmont State College) and a member of the Hundred Homemakers Club and a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
Surviving are three daughters and spouses, Elizabeth and Buck Taylor of Moundsville,Sara and Don Fernie of Peoria, AZ and Carol Cross of Hundred; two adopted daughters, Janice Moore of Yuma, AZ and Sonya Johnson of New Freeport, PA; three step-daughters, Betty Wells of Uhrichsville, OH,Mary Hammel of Yuma, AZ and Elaine Shaffer of Crestview, FL;eleven grandchildren, twenty step-grandchildren, fifty one great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rolley Moore, Sr.; a son, Rolley Moore, Jr.;a step-son, Jack Moore; two step-daughters, Lela Lemley and Katheryn Mackenson; five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-9 PM Friday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Saturday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton, WV.
