Fostean A. Flanagan, 91, of Weirton, WV died Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the Weirton Area Medical Center.
She was born October 6, 1923 at Earnshaw, a daughter of the late John Anderson and Fanny Fetty Anderson.
Mrs. Flanagan was a homemaker.In her younger years she worked at Westinghouse and Continental Can Company.
Fostean was a catholic by faith and a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in New Cumberland, WV.
Surviving are one son, Gerald Flanagan, of Weirton; one daughter, Leona Flanagan of Weirton; one brother, Orval Anderson of Weirton; and one sister, Blanche Wright of Minerva, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Flanagan; one brother, Delbert Harold “Boots” Anderson, and two sisters, Edna Mae Wright and Johanna Dawson.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 2-4 PM Sunday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
