Betty Jane Keifline, 91, of (Georgetown Community) Cameron, WV died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her residence.
She was born September 3, 1922 at Johnstown, PA, a daughter of the late Daniel Emeigh.
Mrs. Keifline worked as a nurses's aide at Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA for many years.
Betty was lutheran by faith.
Surviving is her daughter-in-law, Madeleine Keifline, with whom she made her home; her fury four legged daughter, "Katie Bug"; nine grandchildren, James E. Keifline, IV, Thomas Keifline, Timothy Keifline, Jeff Keifline, Susan Keifline, Theresa Tkacik, Mary Tkacik, David Tkacik, and Michael Tkacik; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, James E. Keifline III and her daughter Anne Elizabeth Tkacik; and four brothers and one sister.
She was a great lover of animals. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a local animal shelter.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday with Hospice Chaplin Thomas Mathes officiating. Interment will follow in the Hutch Cemetery near Deep Valley, PA.
