Kathryn Clelland, 84, of New Freeport, PA died Saturday, August 16, 2014 in the Cameron Continuous Care Center.
Mrs. Clelland was born June 17, 1930 at Westover, WV, a daughter of the late Walker Stalnaker and Mabel Moreford Stalnaker.
She formerly worked at Greene County Memorial Hospital in Waynesburg as a CNA. She also cared for many elderly people in their homes.
Kathryn was a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church at Garrison, PA.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Anderson of New Freeport, PA and Brian Anderson of Mt. Morris, PA; one daughter, Linda Stout of New Freeport, PA; one step-daughter, Penny Ketchem of Waynesburg, PA; two brothers, Roger Stalnaker of New Freeport, PA and Larry Stalnaker of Charleston; two sisters, Mary Jennewine of New Freeport, PA and Patricia Johnston of Point Arena, California; six grand-children and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Clelland.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with Evangelist Dick Bartrug officiating. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery at Grafton.
