Janet Sue Tennant, 68, of Knob Fork, WV died Friday, October 31, 2014 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born December 9, 1945 at Littleton, a daughter of the late Charles Albert “Bert” Longwell and Jessie Alice Church Longwell.
Sue was a homemaker and a member of the Rush Run United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Scott Tennant and his wife Abby, and Robert Tennant, all of Knob Fork, and Richard D. “Rik” Tennant and his husband Roy Salomon of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Walter Neil Longwell of Littleton; five grandchildren, Katie Tennant, Richard Tennant, Leah Tennant, Cassidy Tennant, and Piper Tennant; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Tennant was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard “Dick” Tennant, who died December 2, 1996; one sister, Gladys Deigert; and five brothers, Harold Longwell, Herbert “Callie” Longwell, Robert Longwell, Dallas Longwell, and Warren Longwell.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday with the Rev. Elizabeth Carson officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery at Littleton.
