Lyla R. Miller, 76, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1938 at Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Glen W. Pyles and Lydia Audrey Cain Pyles.
Mrs. Miller worked as a bartender for many years at The Spot in Hundred.
Surviving is one brother, Hilbert Pyles of Paris, PA and one sister, Deloris Pahanish of Lisbon, OH; and five children whom she raised after their mother died, Lisa Boyd and Deborah Henderson both of Hundred, Paul Dotson, Jr. of Weirton, David Dotson and Mark Dotson, both of Follansbee.
Lyla was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Miller; and by two brothers, Lamoyne Pyles and Gerald Pyles.
At Lyla's request there will be no funeral service or visitation. Her request was to have a direct burial which took place on Friday, August 15, 2014. Interment was in the Postlethwait Cemetery near Wileyville.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
