Shirley Waddle, 77, of Littleton, WV died Sunday, January 6, 2013 in Select Specialty St. Francis Hospital in Charleston.
She was born November 24, 1935 at New Martinsville, a daughter of the late Charles Greathouse and Virginia Fisher.
Mrs. Waddle was a retired rural mail carrier.
She was a member of the VFW Post #437 Ladies Auxiliary of Moundsville.
Shirley's hobbies including traveling, camping, fishing, and playing cinch. She enjoyed time with her family and friends, expecially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah K. Wright of Hundred and Vanessa Mackey-Sweatt of Clarksburg; two brothers, Berdell Fisher of Lewisville, OH and Willard Fisher of Washington, PA; one sister, Eva Dakan of Wileyville; four grandchildren, Julie McCartney, Eric Wright, Michelle Reynolds, and David Mackey; six great-grandchildren, Logan McCartney, Madison McCartney, Ryley Wright, Rhylan Mackey, Camdyn Mackey, and Raegan Reynolds; her step-mother, Ora Greathouse; her step-daughter, Robin Bassett of Minnesota; and two step-grandchildren, Kristi Bassettt and Amy Bassett.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Lovell Waddle, Jr; two sisters, Garnett Shafer and Marjorie Bassett; and one brother, Clifford Fisher.
Mrs. Waddle chose cremation as her method of disposition. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lovell (Wally) and Shirley Waddle will be held at 1:00 PM at the Wetzel County 4-H Campground on January 20, 2013. For information please call 304-266-2372.
