Christopher David McDiffitt, 22, of Hundred, died July 22, 2013 at his residence.
He was born December 24, 1990 in New Martinsville a son of Billy Joe McDiffitt of Knob Fork and Bonnie Sue Wise of Hundred.
Chris was employed by Consolidation Coal Company. He loved to go deer hunting and hang out with his friends.
Mr. McDiffitt was a baptist by faith.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his step-mother, Kimberly McDiffitt of Knob Fork; his step-father, Jerry Hadley of Hundred; his paternal grandparents, Webb and Mary McDiffitt of Cuya hoga Falls, OH; and Mary Jo and John Core of Wana; his paternal step-grandfather, Ronnie Hostuttler of Knob Fork; maternal grandparents, Larry Wise and Carrie Wade of Hundred; maternal great-grandmother, Sarah Wade of Littleton; two brothers and their spouses, Joshua "Bub" McDiffitt and his wife Kathleen of Littleton and Jesse McDiffitt of Knob Fork; one sister, Jenna McDiffitt of Hundred; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rose Wise.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with Pastor Dale Hostuttler officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Knob Fork.
