Surviving in addition to her parents are two sisters, Brooke Rush and Felesha Rush both of Wadestown; her Mamaw, Peggy Chisler of Daybrook; her boyfriend, Ben Shumiloff of Daybrook; her dog "Casey Boy"; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Sydney was a junior at Clay-Battelle High School. She was secretary of her class, the class of 2015. She was a member of the Senior High National Honor Society, and Young Life and 4-H. Sydney was a 2011 State Cheerleading Champion, a 2013 State Track Champion in the 4x1 and 4x2, and was awarded "Gloria's Race" in the 4x1 in 2012 and 2013, she was so proud of that!
She had a beautiful smile that would light up the room, and a quirky sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. She was loved by so many friends, classmates, coaches, and most of all--family. She loved "her sissies" with all of her heart and soul. A few words to describe Sydney would be beautiful, quirky, stylish, athletic, confident, smart, artistic, fun and full of life. She could make friends wherever she went, she never knew a stranger.
Sydney was a true Cee Bee and her legacy will live on forever! She will be missed so much!
