Edith P. Teagarden, 98, of Barnesville, OH, formerly of Hundred, WV died Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the Barnesville Hospital.
She was born November 6, 1913 near Cameron, a daughter of the late Santford Morgan and Jessie Fletcher Morgan.
Mrs. Teagarden worked in several different stores in the Cameron and Hundred area.
She was a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
Surviving are two granddaughters and their husbands, Pamela and David Lucas of Barnesville, OH and Debra and John Goodhart of Seneca Lake, OH; five great-grandchildren, David, Rachel, Jason, Whitney, and Ashley; ten great-great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Turner, her second husband, John Carl Teagarden; one daughter, Mary Mae Wright; and five sisters, Irene McVay, Josephine McCullough, Erna Snodgrass, Anna Virginia Gittings, and Helen Rose Moninger.
Friends will be received at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Run Cemetery near Cameron.
