Bonnie R. Gribble, 87, of Wadestown, WV died Thursday, January 12, 2012 in the Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center in Morgantown.
She was born April 20, 1924 at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Raymond Tennant and Garnet E. Porter Tennant.
Mrs. Gribble retired as a secretary for the Monongalia County Board of Education. Part of her career with the board was serving as the secretary at Clay-Battelle High School.
Bonnie was a member of the West Warren Baptist Church of Wadestown.
Surviving are her husband, Paul M. Gribble; one son, Gary D. Tennant of Wadestown; two granddaughters, Misty Tennant and Heather Tennant; five great-grandchildren, Sean, Madison, Antonio, Phoenix, and Journie; one niece, Melody Tennant; and two nephews, Jeff Tennant and Scott Tennant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carol Tennant, and a brother, Richard Tennant.
Mrs. Gribble has chose cremation as her method of disposition. A memorial service will be held in the near future. The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
