David Lee Henderson, 63, of Silver Hill, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at his residence.

He was born October 27, 1948 at New Martinsville, a son of Cornelia Fay Wood Henderson of Littleton and the late John D. Henderson.

Lee last worked as an oil pumper for Haddad & Brooks, Inc. He was a farmer who loved his farm. He was a member of the former Kirk Ridge United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Yvonnea Kay Clifton Henderson; a daughter and son-in-law, Hannah Raine Edgell and her husband Troy of Salem; two brothers and their spouses, Wayne and Zula Henderson of Burton and Frank Henderson of Littleton; 5 nieces and nephews, Patricia Henderson, Cindy Woodbury, Daniel Henderson, Jessica Knight, and Luke Henderson.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Debra Dian Henderson and a brother, Gerald Randy Henderson.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Monday with the Rev. Elizabeth Carson officiating. Interment will follow in the Henderson-Jolliffe Cemetery on Kirk Ridge.
