Virginia Lee Smith, 95, of Hundred, WV died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.
She was born May 16, 1917 at Hundred, a daughter of the late Jacob E. Roupe and Bessie E. Phillips Roupe.
Mrs. Smith and her late husband managed hotels in California most of their lives.
Virginia was a member of the Littleton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Leona Carman of Hundred, with whom she made her home, Leah Thomas of Eighty Four, PA and Helen Fischer of Crystal Springs, PA, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, George O. Smith.
Mrs. Smith chose cremation as her method of disposition. She requested that there would not be any services. Her cremains will be buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Ned, PA beside of her late parents.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
